I had a wonderful experience staying at Le Méridien! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, and the rooms were comfortable and inviting. The team went above and beyond to make sure guests felt welcome and taken care of. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room was brand new and beautiful

Completely unacceptable service and zero accountability from managementLe Méridien overbooked both nights of our reservation and left us stranded twice.Night 1: We were told our room was unavailable and were relocated to a different hotel several blocks away. Management provided zero transportation, leaving us to walk through the streets with all our luggage.Day 2: After checking out of the other hotel, we returned in the morning and were told to wait until the 3:00 PM check-in. We stopped back around 1:30 PM hoping to freshen up before a baseball game, but our room still was not ready. We had to change in the lobby restroom, though the front desk explicitly reassured us that our room would be set by the time we returned after the game.Night 2: We returned at 11:15 PM only to learn they had overbooked again. There was no room, no available hotels downtown, and no solutions offered. The front desk staff attempted to contact the General Manager, Todd, but could not even get him to come downstairs to address us.Ultimately, their only fix was putting us in an out-of-order room with a broken AC unit and a small portable fan. Not a single person from management has reached out to apologize or resolve this disaster. For a brand at this price point, the total lack of leadership and basic hospitality is astounding. AVOID BOOKING HERE !!!!

I write this while still checked in at this hotel. My rating of poor is based on everything so far being below what most people would feel as reasonable expectations. Starting with a bellman who is clueless about service and decorum who showed me to a room that is compared to other hotel properties small and because of the choice of barn doors provides inadequate privacy while using the bathroom.A need to communicate with the front desk because although Wi-Fi is shown as free, ( even on Trip Advisor), after logging on according to the front desk instruction, the connection screen only allows to connect by agreeing to pay for Wi-Fi. Complimentary coffee in room is provided but the coffee maker did not operate properly and there were 2 small creamer pods which would clearly not accommodate anything but near black coffee for 2 people. Ordering a cafe latte ( because of shortage of creamer), and a banana bread pudding from room service, and being advised, sorry no bread pudding. I wonder what is next, because I have been here so far for 4.5 hrs and already completely disappointed. Having traveled extensively, I must also state that price to value is completely out of balance. I understand that each of the points I raise, one could rationalize are minor, but cumulative they project a sour tone and create a poor experience. I hope that management takes the time to visit high end properties and learns the difference between good, very good, and great with respect to hotel properties. Because I feel that creating a negative review without a name is not fair, but considering this is a very public forum, I post the first 5 letters of my name, (Sund).

No sheet on the bed, flashing light in the bathroom that they couldn’t turn off (kept us up), paper thin walls, only gave us one towel and it took them 3 hours to get us another one so we could shower, curtains didn’t close fully, attitude from staff. Not worth the stay.
