#1 don't even think about this place , very loud at night , steps to get in back door closest to room. Water sounds all night from who knows where. 3rd hotel in 4 days most expensive and by far the worst, Morning desk guy never said a word but here is your receipt. Doors all have gaps in them. Housecleaning tried to come in no knocking no anything 40 minutes before checkout

The property is in clear need of modernization and a substantial amount of upkeep. While the location just off Interstate 75 itself was a plus as well as the bed was very comfortable, the pillows were too high disrupting the quality of my sleep, also several others aspects of the room reflected the age and condition of the hotell like the carpeting was noticeably tattered and threadbare, the desk chair was in particularly poor condition and should be replaced as soon as possible. The heating/air-conditioning system was not functioning, which affected the comfort of the stay. Breakfast was fairly average and did not stand out. The property has potential, but it would benefit greatly from a comprehensive renovation and much closer attention to maintenance and detail. With thoughtful investment and refurbishment, the hotel could offer a considerably more comfortable and appealing experience for guests.

Inn was located close to the interstate but far enough away that noise was not a problem. All personnel were friendly and acknowledged us. Our request for a handicapped room was fulfilled. There was plenty of room, bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. There are several restaurants near by as well as gas stations. Breakfast was good but we felt rushed as the desk employee also took care of the buffet and he was in a hurry to close up. Coffee is available in the lobby so you have to cross over people checking out to get coffee with your breakfast. It needs moved closer to the breakfast room.Overall it was a good experience and I would return if in the area.

We chose this hotel based on price and location while driving down I 75. It was perfect. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The mini fridge was large and the freezer section kept mu cold pack frozen. Breakfast was plentiful with hot items and included a fresh yogurt dispenser and make-your-own waffles. A very chipper Katie would make them for you if you wanted, and otherwise made sure everyone had what they needed. Coffee was hot and robust. The hotel is in a safe-feeling cluster of lodging options near retail right off the freeway.

My wife and I checked into the Best Western (Elkhorn) in Lexington, Ky and found the experience there to be quite positive. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We had a Comfortable room with BIG SCREEN TV and very comfortable bed. Quiet, restful night and although the bathroom is small, the lighting was exceptionally good. We did have a problem with the tub since its stopper wouldn't function, but the shower was fine. The morning breakfast was OK and afterwards we checked out and returned to the highway.
