The Beachcomber Seafood Restaurant ·$$

Located right on the sand of Crystal Cove, the Beachcomber operates in one of the historic cottages, and features seafood and mixed drinks. The quality of the food and the service is best proved by its popularity: the wait is often two hours, and limited reservations are accepted only on-line. However, a little planning can make the wait hassle free: make the Beachcomber reception the first stop at Crystal Cove, drop in your name and number, then go explore the beach until being called. Don't have 2 hours? Come for an early breakfast – sipping a cup of coffee on the sun deck while looking out at Santa Catalina Island. A perfect way to start your day.

If you're going for the view and location, go for it. If you're looking for a nice seafood dinner, you need to look elsewhere. This place is okay for a burger and fries when you're hungry from...

Good: view. Nice servers. Pistachio covered cauliflower was delicious and had a great sauce. Bad: high prices. Cold sesame crusted ahi tuna plate. No sesame around the ahi tuna slices. A little...

classic American food is typically not my go to preference for restaurant but after hiking in the area this was a perfect way to wrap up for lunch. With high tide the waves raise just about where...

Beachcomber is always busy busy but 100% worth the wait! The drinks are strong but not stiff and the food comes out in a timely manner and is a consistent quality each time! The inside and outside...
