We a great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and I had a great time learning about Kansas City and its History.

We we visiting the Market Square for the first time—primarily to kill time while the people we were visiting in Kansas City were at work. There was a lot of construction going on, but we decided to go ahead. We saw a sign for a private museum about an old steam paddle boat, the “Arabia,” that had sunk in 1853. The gift shop where you bought tickets was typical and the tickets seemed a little pricey, but we decided to take a chance. It was fantastic! These people had located the wreck, dug down to it, salvaged the cargo, cleaned it, preserved it, and displayed it—the world’s largest collection of pre-Civil War artifacts. We liked it so much we came back two days later to show our hosts. We also had a nice lunch at a little hole-in-the-wall Indian restaurant elsewhere in the Square

Robin was an amazing tour guide and highly insightful of Kansas City and its history! The walking tour lasted as expected (2.0 hrs) and covered quite a number of K.C's exciting neighborhoods. Would recommend this tour to all visitors to K.C!

I think it's important to realize this is more of a walking tour that happens to also have food, rather than what you'd think of as a food tour. We were expecting more of a food tour but we still had a great time. It was a small group, and it was about 100 degrees, so a little uncomfortable for a day walking. The guide worked to get us tables and stopping points out of the sun. I get the feeling this is a little bit of a newer tour, and I think it shows a little in the flow of the topics. I'd like to see the food incorporated a little more, or have the stops be more historically relevant so they fit the tour topics better. It was a really nice day and I would recommend it to others.

Great way to experience the River Market and try different restaurants. Our guide was fantastic and very informative with the history of KC. Definitely recommend to visitors and locals!
