My core belief is that all students can become better players. It’s in the way we look at their potential, not their inconsistencies. I treat each student of mine as if they could be professionals one day. When it comes down to it, it is our duty as teachers to reinforce muscle memory, technique, and self-motivation simultaneously. One student’s weakness is another’s strength. A good teacher is able to adjust accordingly to every minute in the span of a lesson. If a respectful student/teacher relationship is initially established, both will be more at ease which makes for a productive lesson. When I teach, I become a better player and vice versa. I’ll often come home at the end of the day and think about some of the things I learned from my students, which is great fun. I truly love what I do. Please contact me if you would like to get together and chat some more.

yelpI played violin in high school, but lost interest over the years. I recently decided to pick it up again. Jessica is an amazing teacher who is really inspiring.
