The Morrison Knudsen Foote Park Center is a wonderful place to learn about Mary Hallock Foote and Arthur Foote. We enjoyed the beautiful setting of their home and learning more about their lives.

Enjoy history? Arthur DeWint and Mary Hallock Foote had important impacts on the physical and cultural developments in Idaho's Treasure Valley. This is the site of their homestead embedded into a modern Interpretive Center. The park itself features many hiking trails, is an excellent birding site, and even includes what must be one of the toughest Frisbee Golf courses I've seen. One has to climb over hills and between trees to complete! Follow directions. Last part is a dirt road but firm usually. Picnic tables, bathrooms and wonderful views! Visit their website for a complete description of all that is there to see and enjoy. Easy to get to from Boise.
