tripadvisorWe were unable to find it The directions took us to the bank and said it was there. Drove around the building (and block) several times to no avail.Maybe next time
MoreVery pretty wall mural. Found it while walking near Dolly Parton statue..just around the corner. Nice photo opportunity.
MoreTook look’s pictures of family standing in front of and go see the statue of dolly it old part of downtown
MoreThe Wings of Wander Mural is very artistic and worth a quick look if you're in town. The name is clever and appropriate. We saw it while walking the downtown Sevierville Historic trail. The listed E. Main St. address is for the front of a nearby building but the mural is actually on the wall of a smaller, detached structure closer to Bruce St. It's near the gazebo across from the Sevier County Heritage Museum.
MoreWent in search of the Wings of Wander Mural in Sevierville. It is hidden on the backside of a storage building that is tucked in behind the Sevier County bank on Main Street. If you drive behind the bank, you will NOT see it. You have to walk around the small building behind the bank. I think it is actually easier to park at the small parking lot with the gazebo on Bruce Street. Here you will see the mural. Overall, the mural is very pretty. However, finding it was a little tricky. Also, the mural is set up kind of high off the ground. There is NO sturdy platform to stand on in front of the mural should you want to take a picture of yourself as a butterfly. There is just a pile of rocks there and dirt. It appears some have chosen to place one of the larger rocks in the center in hopes of standing in front of the butterfly wings. I would recommend if in the area.Note: IF you like this orange monarch Wings of Wander Mural by Pinkie Mistry, there is a purple one by the same artist on the backside of the Mill Bridge Winery Building in Pigeon Forge.
