Unfortunately we were not able to book a trolley tour due to them being booked. We tried to book ahead of time before we left on our trip. We were added to the wait list. We ended up doing a self tour, my granddaughter and I. We loved visiting Covington. They just so happened were filming Sweet Magnolias at the restaurant and we had pictures made with some of the cast. If planning a trip to Covington you at least need to be there 3 to 4 days.

This is one of my favorite tours. You go outside of Covington and see so many neat filming locations. It is a long tour so be prepared for this to take up majority of one day. It is worth it!

We did the Epic Tour on Saturday March 2. I suppose I should have asked before the tour, since it's not indicated on the website, how long the tour would take, but they don't tell you how long the tour is going to be (3 - 3 1/2 hours) until the bus is loaded up and ready to go. It started off rocky as they over sold the seats and two people didn't get to go ( they could have fit but wouldn't have been able to sit together, don't blame them). Then we visited the Murder House which was very cool, and asked to join in a group photo ( odd but okay). Then they said the next stop would be approx 25 minute drive to see a house where a scene or two of the Originals was filmed in Jackson, GA. The drive ended up being 40 minutes. Then once we all got off the bus we noticed a wedding was about to take place, and that message wasn't relayed to the tour company. So back on the bus we go. Then we were told the next stop was about 15 minutes ( took 25 minutes) to Starrsville to visit the next stop on the tour which ended up being cool to see, but then again asked to do another group photo (odd). The things we saw were cool. It's very Originals heavy. The driver was a very good driver. Overall, you spend most of the tour ( 3 hours and 20 minutes for ours) driving and driving really fast past the places you don't actually stop and told approx 10 seconds before to get your cameras ready. And if you were on the wrong side of the bus you were out of luck. Yes, I said bus. We didn't take a trolley. I don't think the website said anything about a bus. Overall, if we would have known it was going to be such a long tour with all the driving we probably would have not taken this tour. As it shortened our day doing other things we had planned on doing.

We took the Epic tour and the Movie tour with them! They are the best tours we had! Brianna was our guide both times and she was amazing! I would highly recommend taking this tour you learn so much and see so much more! You get to go out of town and see some really cool stuff like “Hawkins” and they give all kinds of extras. You also get to go see the wedding Venue for Joe and Alaric and Enzo and Bonnie’s house where Enzo died! My favorite tour and will do it again!!

My sister and I took the Covington tour which showed filming locations from The Vampire Diaries, Sweet Magnolias, and Dukes of Hazzard. Our tour guide was great and funny. We were excited to get to ride on a trolley around Covington, but were disappointed when a bus picked us up. Riding in a bus instead of a trolly didn’t make the experience we paid for special or unique. I also felt super rushed when we stopped and they let us off the bus. I wanted to take some photos at some locations but didn’t have time because there were others trying to do the same thing. At the end of the tour we told ourself that we should have just rode around ourselves to see the sites instead of spending $40.
