Reyaan has been training at 888 Table Tennis Club for over 3 years, and today was an incredibly special and proud moment for me — he won his first medal in a higher-rated category! As a parent, moments like these mean so much, especially when you see the effort, dedication, and support that go into making them possible.A very special thank you to Maggie, who was there for Reyaan throughout the tournament, watching his matches, cheering him on, and giving him crucial advice at just the right moments. Honestly, I don’t think Reyaan would have won those matches without her guidance and the timely push she gave him. Maggie, your support made such a huge difference, and I can’t thank you enough for being so invested in his success!I’m also incredibly grateful to Yiran Wu and Lily Cheng, who have been working with Reyaan through private lessons. Their coaching, patience, and dedication have played an important role in his development. It’s wonderful to see him gradually grow in his skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. Having coaches who genuinely care about his progress is something I truly value.They say it takes a village to raise a child, and I couldn’t agree more. The same is true when nurturing a young athlete. It takes more than practice and hard work — it takes people who believe in a child, guide them through challenges, encourage them when things get tough, and celebrate their progress along the way.
