This hotel was a joy. We spent a couple of nights there to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and they made a real effort to make us feel special and cared for, including upgrading us to a beautiful suite with some treats. We loved the comfy bed and welcoming living area. Their thoughtful approach began with Tom reaching out to me via email to inquire if we needed anything for upcoming our stay. In a world of increasingly sterile email drafted by AI, Tom’s notes to me were personal and kind; I felt like I had found a new friend in him. The staff at the front desk also were very welcoming and we had some nice and funny chats with Josh and Kassie. Cheers to all of them.The central location of the hotel enables you to walk and explore the downtown area, including Powell Books and many restaurants. It’s a quick drive to the Portland Japanese Garden, the International Rose Test Garden and the Revival Drum Shop.

First time in Portland, Oregon, we chose Bidwell Marriott for its location and M Club lounge. I have to confess I am very picky , but the experience at Bidwell exceeded my expectations. We are Titanium member, staying at many Marriott hotels, including Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis.....this one stands out, great downtown location, 3 mins to light rail, very friendly staff, clean, modern and spacious room. There is a filtered water dispenser on every floor to keep you hydrated. I would like to show our appreciation for front desk staff Charlee, she was very patient with our room request, which made our stay comfortable and wonderful. Thank you, Bidwell Marriott. We love Portland and will be back.

On a business trip to Portland and stayed at the Bidwell; what a great hotel, great central location Staff; the best, from check, the M lounge, High Horse restaurant Two outstanding staff; Josh S and Derek, professional, knowledgeable and made the stay wonderful.
