My husband and I went to Smith Park on a Monday afternoon. We are not from Marshall but like to get to know the area. The park has old playground equipment but more than some parks. The park has a medium sized building used for civic events, I assume. We pulled into the park from the main street then drove through the park and into a neighborhood. Wow, that was a scary hood. I would not let my kids play here without lots of supervision. Nope, I will not be back.
