it is a lovely surprise to find so much art in Reno, from the metal sculptures downtown to these great murals in the cool bar district along Virginia. The city is evolving into a cool place. Not just casinos anymore.

I went out to dinner in this area and noted the well executed street art, the lovely murals on the walls. Not a lot of them, but all are welcome to make this area an arts district.

This has become a very cool part of town. It used to be the area that one drove through as quickly as possible, but now it's edgy, full of cafes and some good restaurants, and now this lovely street art. A nice change.

Reno has a wonderful art colony living there. They have beautiful wall murals, This time we visited some in the mid town area of town.
