tripadvisorI had the worst two nights of sleep ever at Quarters on DOT by Thatch. Although there’s a sign for quiet hours (10 PM–7 AM), it’s impossible for anyone to actually be quiet because every single step echoes throughout the building—especially on the staircase. The first floor had multiple issues: the bathroom door caught on the toilet seat, the shower lacked basic dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and soap (unlike the upstairs one), and the trash can was left overflowing. Under the sink, there was an old empty box surrounded by visible mold, which was both unsightly and unhygienic.Other details added to the poor experience. One of the most important notices was handwritten on a paper towel and barely legible, while less important signs were neatly printed. The fire alarm panel was also thick with dust, suggesting a lack of attention to upkeep. While the noise outside was tolerable, the inside conditions made restful sleep impossible. Overall, I cannot recommend staying here unless you don’t mind sleepless nights and overlooked cleanliness issues.
MoreWe stayed at Quarters on DOT for a one-night stopover. The place was clean, modern, and generally comfortable. However, our room faced the main street and it got quite noisy on Saturday night—something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.A big shoutout to Charles from the staff, who was absolutely lovely. He helped us get quarters for the washing machine and even showed us how to use it. His kindness and helpfulness really stood out and made a difference in our short stay. One important tip: double-check your door code before you arrive. Ours was sent via email just a few hours before check-in, and we almost got stuck outside for 60 mins trying to dig it up. Not exactly the welcome we hoped for!If it helps, there's a Taco Bell on the next street.
MoreNo pude ir. Transcribo el último email que intento enviar, no es posible, reclamando por enésima vez el retorno del doble cobro que me hicieron de una habitación cancelada dentro de plazo:The last email I try to send them: Dear Sir/Madam,I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to address a serious matter regarding my recent reservation with Quarters on Dot by Tatch (Boston).Despite repeated attempts to rectify the issue of being erroneously charged twice for the same reservation, the problem persists. This has led me to take the necessary step of canceling the reservation, with the expectation of a full refund for both charges.I want to be clear: I demand the immediate refund of both duplicate charges. Failure to do so will leave me with no choice but to escalate this matter to legal action through my bank. The inconvenience and frustration caused by this situation are unacceptable. I expect prompt action to resolve this issue and prevent such errors from occurring in the future.I look forward to your urgent response and the swift resolution of this matter.
MoreNEVER BOOK A ROOM HERE!Our room was on the ground floor with the window overlooking the street. The AC unit was duct taped to the window and a shabby plastic panel was the only thing protecting you from the drunks walking outside your window from the bar right across the street. You could literally reach through the panel, past the duct tape, and get inside the room. We had luggage so we had to stay in the room all night to make sure nothing was stolen. The 4 ft by 4ft shared bathroom was a mess. The soap dispenser in the shower was flooded onto the floor and the trash can lid was broken so people just threw their refuse in the corner on top of it with used towels strewn about. The code to our door didn’t work, we told them numerous times and it took them nearly 2 hours to change it remotely.I’m pretty sure it’s one person that runs the whole thing from their bedroom with no regard for the safety of their guests. We booked for a week but left right when the sun came up after that first night. Nobody was available to help us with anything, we tried to get another room but spent hours trying to contact them with little to no response. I’d leave a negative star response if I could, I hope this place gets shut down.
