We rented Nanook for 15 days in late August/early September 2021 and loved every minute. Nanook took us from Anchorage to McCarthy and back, and then to Homer and Seward for the last leg of our trip. As self-admitted “city people”, we only camped 2 nights, but the rooftop tent was surprisingly comfortable (albeit a bit damp from the steady rain). Nanook’s best feature was the refrigerator in the back - it kept our perishable groceries and beers cold during our road trip through southern Alaska. It handled the McCarthy Road like a champ, and it scaled Hatcher Pass with ease. Nanook was the perfect chariot for our epic Alaskan adventure!

Details, details....I was one of the lucky ones that had the opportunity to have both cars, Nannok and Denali. And I can tell you that both are amazing!! This is the place. Craig and Brook are true Alaskans that actually camp and travel all around Alaska, so they know what you will need for your trip. No rookies here. The details made a huge difference, they thought about everything that you may need and you have it. From my private refrigerator inside the Car, from clean sheets, utensils, stove, knifes, that are actually sharp, and videos on how to manage the car. I’m a single mom with a 13 yr old daughter and we had the best experience ever. Can wait to be back during late summer.
