Great hotel! My room is nice! Great value! Dana is awesome. She really helped me get checked in and comfortable.

This hotel is HORRIBLE. We stayed for super bowl weekend because we liked the proximity to the stadium and it was one of the only things left. BOY WAS THAT A MISTAKE. It's actually insane that this hotel is offered on American Express Travel website because of how terrible and disgusting it is. The rooms are not clean. The person next to us was blasting techno music from 2am-4am with extremely loud extracurricular activities going on. Had to physically bring an employee outside their door to prove it to them and still it did not stop. They did not offer to have us change rooms. They did not clean our room once and even at check-in we found toe nail clippings everywhere on the bathroom floor. I repeat- this hotel is DISGUSTING. DO NOT STAY HERE. On top of that- we paid $650+ per night. Looking back I would not pay more than $50 and that is generous.

We got in very late, but check-in was smooth and our room was ready. Breakfast is not included. There’s not a lot offered and what is offered is expensive. Very nice staff!

this place is a dump, look at the photos real close, there is nothing in the room, nothing on the walls, no cabinet in the bathroom with pipes exposed under sink. he asked for a $150 deposit wheni checked in and i asked for what reason and he said in case something was stolen, joke, there's nothing to steal. there is 1 very tiny elevator in the back of the hotel. my one night stay just felt dirty. Southwest concierge actually has this dump on there site and that's how i found it. there are many other upscale hotels within blocks of the airport, USE THEM

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had – Dishonest, Rude, and Unprofessional. If you value your job AND your job’s expense report policies. DO NOT STAY HERE!! They will screw you over and your job could reprimand you for events outside of your control.Booked through Concur, I stayed (briefly) at the Sonesta Select near San Jose Airport and cannot stress enough how deeply disappointing and infuriating the experience was. This hotel is a scam wrapped in hospitality branding. Avoid it at all costs—especially if you’re a business traveler or someone who expects even basic integrity from a hotel.First, they blatantly lied about the amenities. The listing advertised a gym, a pool, and an on-site restaurant—none of which were available or operational when I arrived. When I brought this up, I was met with a smug shrug and a “well sometimes it’s open” excuse. This wasn’t a small oversight—it was outright false advertising. I should have stayed with a more reputable and reliable hotel.Second, I canceled my reservation early, well before checkout, and they still charged me for a full extra night I didn’t stay. I was told I’d face a cancellation fee unless I kept the reservation, and then they went ahead and billed me anyway. It was a trap—deceptive and predatory.And when I expressed that this level of dishonesty and rudeness was unacceptable the front desk staff literally laughed at me. I was stunned! This is the kind of place that will gaslight you, threaten you, and laugh in your face when you call out their poor behavior.Unprofessional. Dishonest. Disrespectful. There is nothing “select” about Sonesta Select. It’s a poor excuse for a hotel and a terrible choice for any traveler. They don’t care about your stay or your time. They exist because they are located near a popular airport and rely on one time travelers to pay exorbitant prices for a sub-par service, experience and hotel.Spend your money elsewhere—on a hotel that honors its word and treats its guests like human beings.
