tripadvisorMy wife and I were in CLE from out of town. We walked around downtown and we entered the location where Coco's place. We were absolutely amazed by it. The level of creativity where she has the different selfie stations, wow I've never seen anything like it and I've been to many place in the US and a total of 13 different countries and nothing rivals what we saw a Coco's. The owner, Coco, gave us a tour and she was very professional, knowledgeable and simply a great person. My wife and I will return to CLE again very soon and we have every intention to go to Coco's place.
MoreA hidden gem. This looks like a store from the outside but it’s so much more. Occupying a large underground area it has many cool antiques but the real treat is the fantasy rooms. The wizard of oz, Narnia and little shop of horrors come to life in these rooms. A real treat.
MoreVery cool art/event space! Stumbled upon coco and staff creating her vision! Very nice surprise! Well worth your time to explore!
MoreI accidentally found this place walking through the 5th Street Arcade one day, and have been back a few times with friends and family. However, my most memorable visit occurred this week when I brought my daughters to the store to meet the resident artist (Mark). You cannot stop at Coco’s without meeting Mark. He is the kind gentleman that will teach you how to paint tiles using Coco’s Chalky Paints. However, if you have something else you want to paint, and have a little extra money, Mark will help you bring out that little artist hiding inside. He did that with my girls when they wanted to paint matching tables that they picked up from Goodwill. The girls walked over to the shop 4-days in a row to work on their art project, and each time they were welcomed and met more artists and passerby’s (like we were initially). The girls also met Coco, received a personalized tour of the store, and spent time talking with Coco about her career and the history of the store. She is an amazing woman and showed my girls that they always have a place to visit the next time they are in Cleveland!
