I’ve been teaching private music lessons for 27 years. My background is an M.M. in Jazz Guitar from Bowling Green State and a B.A. in Music from UA Little Rock, magna cum laude. I spent 19 years on faculty at four universities before moving to private instruction full time. Now I teach at Little Rock Music Academy using my own curriculum called Street Guitar. Most of my students are adults and talented teenagers. I also founded Guitar Wars Inc., Arkansas’s only statewide amateur guitar competition and nonprofit.
