10mins walk to Mayo/Gonda entrance. 30 mins walk to St. Mary's. Works great in our non-winter visit. St Mary's parking is affordable if you have procedure there require a ride. King suite is comfortable, updated, spacious and functional for week long stay. noise level is minimal until a larger school age youth group fill up the hotel at the end of our stay. Parking is $23 a day (after tax). In my opinion a extreme value as a Hyatt award category 2 redemption//7500 points per night. Yes there are hotels closer to mayo with skywalk/subway but double/triple in price without breakfast. I would choose Hyatt house again if have needs to return to the area. Hotel is accommodated with length of stay if you book with regular payment//front desk can just refund un-needed nights. Points booking is less flexible if need to shorten length of stay -they might not be able to help you get points back as its separate system through world of Hyatt customer service. There is no longer evening soup offered, they should remove it from the website. Key card did stop working twice during our stay and front desk fix it. I was not able to get digital key on Hyatt app to work.

This used to be a beautiful hotel. Now it is dirty, carpets look horrible and are fraying. If you are in a wheelchair, the tubs do not have benches in them as you are told. Check and double check on the accessibility of your room, however, if you complain nothing will be done about it, so make sure you get what you need at check in. Rooms are gross, do not look under beds or sofa cushions. Will stay at any other hotel than here again.

The staff here is pleasant and knowledgeable and the breakfast offerings are great! Also, this hotel is in a comfortable walking distance to Mayo Clinic which made it convenient when we had after hours appointments.

Spacious, clean rooms and an unbeatable location make this a great choice. We traveled with children and grandchildren and rooms were very well appointed and everyone was comfortable. Breakfast was suitable to our needs and front desk staff was always present and attentive. We would definitely stay again.
