tripadvisorMy overall stay at The Chambers Hotel was mediocre, and considering the price I paid, I was extremely disappointed. I was traveling for work during a large conference week and paid over $350 per night. At that rate, I expected a much better experience. This hotel may have been nice when it was better maintained, but today it feels lackluster and neglected. The restaurant and bar were closed, staff availability was limited, and there was no housekeeping service during my three-night stay. I was provided with only one roll of toilet paper, and the only way to get ice was through the front desk. The front desk staff appeared very young, and the overall service did not inspire confidence. The room was very humid, which made it uncomfortable. The shower door would not close all the way because of its poor design, and the bathroom door was almost impossible to pull closed. These basic issues added to the disappointing experience. The breakfast offering was so minimal that it hardly felt worth providing. When I checked out, there was no one at the front desk to speak with, and I do not believe I ever received a receipt for my stay. For over $350 per night, I expected far better service, amenities, and attention to basic guest needs. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.
MoreOverall, this is a fairly nice hotel. There are a few faults, but nothing that you can’t look past. major no microwave in room refrigerator. Temperature does not adjust in is very small.
MoreFantastic location for the Orpheum, right across the road. Disability room was very spacious, just missing a microwave for convenience. Hotel is clean, lots of eating right around it, felt very safe, parking was easy next door also, secure underground parking.
MoreThe staff person at the front desk was incredible. The hotel management clearly had not staffed the property appropriately for a Friday night at 100% capacity. She was all alone and handled our issue very well. If it wasn't for her, this would be a negative review.
MoreGood location in downtown. Poor cleaniness. Too much dust in room with old thick carpet. No option to change. Good shower. Really poor service breakfast. Dirty and dark and very dusty breakfast room.
