tripadvisorWe had a weird and overly lengthy experience with the owner after her bartenders had served someone in our party on an expired ID. I felt like I was the only sober one in the conversation so it was beyond frustrating trying to communicate. I offered to gather my party and leave but “The Owner” wanted to play Dr. Phil. Twas weird at best. **you can’t rationalize with people after you’ve already served them 3+ drinks. Get some wristbands if you’re going to have multiple bars open. The outside bartender noticed the ID was expired but then sold the next person in our party 2 drinks with a wink after a $20 tip was attached. What are two drunk 20 something women going to think? The bartender is who THE OWNER should have pointed all her pent up boss girl energy towards. The convo at our table went on for entirely too long and when she finally left us alone she took a drink bought by someone else with her bypassing the people smoking weed right next to us. She owes us a rum and coke and an apology. The interaction left us deciding this place is best left as a tourist bar. Prices are high, menu drinks and the premade shots are definitely a waste of money, they don’t offer much food and none of it is light or healthy. They have good bands but the same bands play everywhere in town.
MoreNot a bad converted gas station, but it's appeal is limited. There is live music, booze and a chance to watch drunken people walking off the jet and possibly getting arrested. There is no menu for food, so the appeal is clearly limited for non-drinkers. Not a ton of seating.
MoreThis place was awesome. Bartender was knowledgeable and made great drinks. Definitely will be going back here.
MoreGreat cocktail & service. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the service & the drink. I’ll definitely be back to try some more concoctions!
MoreThis was our first visit to the Gristmill and had gone to watch our friend's band. Location is right beside the Jet Express. I'm glad we got there early to get a table as the place is small but they had tables available on the patio and the rooftop/balcony. Drinks were decent but rather pricey compared to other places. One person worked the foodtruck sitting by the stage where the band played, and she had gotten quite busy being by herself on a Friday night. The bar did have a local brand of chips and snacks available as well. Despite mayflies swarmed in at 10 p.m. that night, we enjoyed ourselves.
