Despite this being the off season for walking tours, Mr. O'Neale was willing to indulge our request for an early AM walking tour of DeLand. This was a wonderful way to see a sampling of the wonderfully diverse architectural style of homes in the NW neighborhood as well as a bit of the Stetson University campus. We then strolled into the vibrant downtown area and were treated to not only a well-versed accounting of the history of DeLand but we also enjoyed the musical talents of our guide! Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting DeLand, Florida. Lots to do especially during the winter snowbird season.

This is a long overdue review for a group tour taken in February.Stanton provided an excellent experience. As a long-time history teacher, he provided fact-based history and context.He was engaged and engaging, and his songs along the route brought another dimension to the tour. It was an unusually cold morning, and despite barely being able to feel the guitar strings for the first part of the tour, he maintained a sense of humor and did not allow it to deter him from providing an outstanding experience.I would suggest going on a day with moderate temperatures, as there is very little shade along the route.I highly recommend!

Stan's downtown musical tour is so good we did it twice in one week. Stan knows Deland history and his songs match the eras.

Our tour guide, Stanton, was over the top GREAT! He was very willing to accommodate our shorter one hour tour. He makes history fun with the songs he has composed as we tour! I highly recommend this tour of Deland. You won't be sorry! He is extremely knowledgeable and he makes history fun!
