This was my second experience on this tour and I do believe Rita honed her touring skills because she presented a thorough explanation of the historic points!

Our guide Sydney was very sweet and an enthusiastic storyteller. This review is about the content of what you get on this tour. This be a lot more interesting if you could go into a couple of the homes or uBuilding that we toured. It’s really just an expensive walk with some stories and not very scary.

Bev told me that if I was not going to leave a 5 star review that I would need to explain, here ya go Bev.Pros: -There were some stories about ghosts haunting people.-The tour guide did dress up this time (but mentioned they dont do it every time)-Took us for a bonus story after the 1.5 hours were done. (but sounded like this only happened because it was convenient for them on the way back to their car?)Cons: -Advertised franklinwalkingtours.com repeatedly every time someone walked past our group, and yes, would even stop mid story to advertise.-Most stories were told with a large volume of Um and Uh which makes it sound like they didnt know the stories very well. Even said at one point you know what im talking about when they got lost in the story telling. (maybe because they were advertising franklinwalkingtours.com mid story)-Group size of 10-20 so it was nice that the tour guide had a voice amp so we could hear, but turned it off half way through the tour so other walking tours the competition didnt hear.-Tour guide could have been more prepared for the tour, its 2026, videos can be downloaded to your tablet, you dont need to connect to the internet every time and then complain during the tour that sometimes the internet doesnt work so we may not get to see the video of the ghost or whatever it was going to show.-Had to skip one of the stops because a group of this size walks slow (this is not our problem if you schedule to many people for your own tour and if you lose time because of technical difficulties during the beginning) Dont tell us, I wouldnt have known.-Avoid saying when you share photos/videos these have not been altered in any way and have been professionally confirmed to be true ect... if you are not going to source the service you used and show documentation of authenticity just skip it and let us see the spooky photo/video. Because you said it, I now think its fake.-You mentioned we should leave 5-star reviews on trip advisor 4+ times during the tour. Im not going to leave a review during the tour, Im here for spooky stories, save it for the end of the tour.
