tripadvisorA good location right in heart of downtown with amazing view from pool or church across road. Area felt a little seedy but ok for one night. Staff friendly and breakfast nice. Rooms spacious and very clean and tidy. Car parking plenty of spaces and safe and secure and easy. Check in and out via app was great.
MoreHotel is brand new but for some strange reason personnel in this hotel is not really friendly.20dollars for parking in Tucson! Is basically a scam!
MoreThe rooms appeared new, modern, and pristine. I rarely rave about complimentary breakfast, but the chicken maple sausage was delicious and there were plentiful eggs, bread, bagels, pastries, and coffee. The view of the city of Tucson and nearby church is pretty. Reception was a little distant yet helpful. This is walking distance from the restaurants and bars on Congress Street. As of this writing in May 2026, the price is terrific given all these positive attributes.
MoreWe checked into the hotel which was very clean and great location. We were there to celebrate the 4th of July. We were checked in by Gianna the supervisor who was very rude and confrontational. Didn’t give clear directions about parking. They have two parking garages one for bigger trucks which we have, she sent us to the smaller parking garage and my husband had to go back into the lobby to ask where the other garage was. She didn’t give us any information about the 4th of July event they were having as well. She was very unprofessional. Her tone really set the mood for our first time there.
MoreHampton Downtown Tucson was only a few blocks from downtown and a great location. Breakfast was always stocked up and the staff in the breakfast area were amazing. The parking garage was secure and easy to navigate. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. The pool area was nice and had a gas grill and lots of seating. The desk staff was friendly and helpful.
