Sturgeon City Park is such a gem! It is seriously one of the most peaceful, beautiful spots around. You almost forget you are even in Jacksonville when you are there. We love spending time walking out on the dock and checking out the water; it is just so relaxing. The weeping willows are absolutely stunning, too.Also, they have these great homeschool classes that my son attends, which we have really enjoyed. Just a heads up if you go, keep an eye on the signs along the walkway, but otherwise, it is the perfect place to just chill and take in the nature

This is a beautiful, well-maintained , landscaped park with a boardwalk along the WATERFRONT. There is signage identifying different plants, birds, wildlife. There is also covered pavilions, parking lot and a children’s playground. The only thing LACKING is a restroom facility. I have not seen any public toilets here.
