Wild Journeys provided an amazing transfer tour from Anchorage to Whittier. Our guide was wonderful. He had a great knowledge of the area and was very flexible in helping us curate stops along the way. He was also very patient and kind with the kids in our group who took a lot of time with animal sightings. He even turned the van around once so they could get another chance to see a bear they spotted on the roadside. He also was very helpful with the grandparents in our group who needed The van was immaculate and stocked with drinks and snacks. I cannot say enough good things about this tour company. Was very impressed. Will book them again for a transfer or custom tour of the Anchorage area next time we are in Alaska. They were wonderful!

Our group of 6 adults used Wild Journeys to take us from our VRBO in Anchorage to the Whittier Cruise Port. This was such a great decision. We had a private van and our driver, Alan, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. He made a few photo opportunity stops along the way and we also went to the Wildlife Conservation Center which was really interesting. He followed us along the paths there in the van in case we wanted to ride instead of walk and he also talked about the animals in the various exhibits. He got us to the port in plenty of time to check in for our cruise. It was really a lovely few hours and everyone in the group was very happy with it! The van itself was very comfortable, and we were provided with water and snacks. Much better than a train ride!!!

Our group of 7 used Wild Journeys to transfer from Anchorage to Whittier to start a cruise. Wild Journeys picked us up at our hotel and provided a driver and a very nice large van which was in excellent condition. Our booking included a scenic stop for photos, admission to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and time for a quick lunch (the cost of lunch was not included). The total cost was less than what we would have paid for a transfer by train from Anchorage to Whittier and the train tracks are right next to the highway so we saw everything the train passengers saw. In my opinion, Wild Journeys was a much better value for our group. Our driver, Doug, did an excellent job with the driving, general information and assistance with luggage. Couldn't have asked for more!

Doug met us at the cruise terminal at Whittier as promised. He provided our group of eight an enjoyable experience in a clean new van, stopping at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and for a casual lunch. We enjoyed his company, and he went out of his way to make sure we were where we wanted to be in Anchorage.
