My Las Vegas Ride Taxi Service

Las Vegas is one of the world's most famous gambling destinations, an unrestrained oasis of excess in the Mojave Desert that mystifies visitors with its glut of neon lights and massive hotels. While the city's origins are still a bit hazy, it was the Hoover Dam that resulted in this hedonistic playground. During the dam's construction, the construction workers needed a few venues for the much-needed rest and relaxation. From this humble origin, Las Vegas grew substantially and now sees billions of dollars pouring in and out of the city limits every year. New hotels continually outdo one another with attractions like roller coasters, light fountain shows and the Fremont Street Experience. The dazzle of The Strip refuses to dim, and the thrill of a dice rolling in Vegas' resplendent casinos still induces an adrenaline high.

BEWARE Car rental pick-up & rental return is an absolute joke- Make sure you leave plenty of time for this. In your planning, add an hour upon arrival in Las Vegas should you have to be somewhere after landing. Additionally, add an hour in your planning when departing. Car rental is off site. Lines for shuttle are long. While signage says shuttles pick up every 10-15 minutes, SIGNS DO NOT TELL YOU there are always 100 people ahead of you. 1/3 of shuttle seating area is dedicated to racks for luggage inside the bus - so lets do the math seating for 25 per bus, 100 people ahead of you, (Time of day doesn't matter). Count on shuttle transportation; (THE SHUTTLE EXPERIENCE BY ITSELF) to take 45 - 60 minutes. This 45-60 minutes does not include time at rental car counter upon arriving or drop off at rental car return prior to your flight departure. Think of your worst TSA wait time experience on steroids. Aside from private transportation, you can't outsmart the system due to it being so far off site. Our next trip to Las Vegas we plan on taking Uber or Lyft from the airport and pick up rental from another location. If you are staying on the strip, most of the hotels have a car rental desk in house. FINAL TIP - After hotel check out, we had 2 hours until boarding time. It took us 12 minutes to get to Car rental return complex. It took us 1 hr 17 mins from the time we dropped off rental until we were walking into the airport. TRUE STORY!!!!

The entire rental car pick up and drop off is an absolute joke. They don’t have enough busses - The staff to get you on busses are rude and it’s an absolute bad experience.Someone needs to investigate this and get it fixed.

Recently hired a car after flying into las Vegas and planning to do the Route 66. We actually went through Sunny Cars but the reason for my review is to advise other travellers, the car rental system there is so professional. All rental car companies work out of the same building and a transfer bus takes you there (and back to the airport). Once there, all the companies are in a circle, find the one you want, fill out the paperwork and go upstairs to find your car and drive off. It is also close to all major highways .........too easy...........
