Highly recommend The Metric, which is new and not as pictured and described on many of the old photos and reviews. The rooms, about 20 total, are on the third through fifth floors, with the even numbers with a view of downtown and the odd numbers with a view of the distant mountains. The second floor has the lobby, with complimentary pastries each morning starting at 7:00 a.m., plus coffee and hot chocolate all day. The rooms themselves are up-to-date, quiet and clean. Be sure to order the on-site, secure parking lot when making a reservation as street parking is limited nearby. The Metric's location is great, near highways and merely a 5 minute drive downtown (a 25 minute walk) and 10 minute drive to Dodger Stadium. Compared to the rates of other nearby hotels, the Metric is most reasonably priced.

I stayed at this hotel in January 2026. The property is modern and high-tech. The room I had was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The location is excellent and easily accessible by public transport. Furthermore, the hotel is situated in a very quiet, peaceful residential area. Breakfast was included, featuring delicious freshly baked pastries. If I ever find myself back in LA, I would gladly stay here again.

Quiet location, clean and peaceful hotel with good beds, and exellent staff. Bus stop just outside the hotel, which take you to metro station(2!) in 5min, or Hollywood around 45min.

I stayed for one night for a nearby concert. The hotel and room were super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Minimalist vibe with friendly staff and great coffee in the morning!!
