Chose this tour option hoping to learn historical information about indigenous peoples (as is heavily implied by the name and artwork), but instead got some pre-recorded Disney narration slop about….Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates? Staff was also weirdly condescending to patrons who are literally paying them money for their service. Music choices were gimmicky and awful. The boat itself is nice, and of course it’s cool to see Seattle from the water. But lower your expectations, or better yet go to an alternative nearby tour.

What a wonderful surprise! My son and I were in Seattle to have lunch with my mom. Unfortunately she had to cancel at the last minute so I needed an activity to do with my 4 year old. We headed down to the waterfront and he spotted the Orca II parked in the harbor and he asked if we could go. I had no idea what to expect but it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Captain Andy let my son drive the boat (definitely a highlight!), I learned a lot about an area I have lived in for years, and the drinks (and souvenir cups) were a great bonus. I will add that the large clean bathrooms made the experience much easier with a young child! Huge thanks to all the staff for a memorable experience.

The boat's theater-style seating up front accommodates about 30 people and is a thoughtful design, giving everyone a solid view of the water and wildlife. The Salish Sea itself is stunning, but the narration felt pre-recorded and the running focus on billionaires' waterfront homes was distracting. You're paying for nature; the billionaire commentary can wait.

Today my husband and I bought the miners landing Pier pass so we could do all of the attractions. We started with the wings over Washington attraction which was really neat. Then we went over and did the sea tour. The boat was so clean. The staff was so great. The bar had excellent options and the seating that this boat had was top notch. I also really appreciate how clean the bathroom on the ship was and the accommodations were for all types of people. This was way better than any of the other Cruise tour ship operators I've been on and I've been on several in the Puget sound. If I ever have guests coming into the city I'm going to recommend we do the pure pass again cuz it's good for an entire year when you buy it and it comes with the carousel. The Sasquatch VR experience. The ferris wheel the wings over Washington, the carousel and the cruise for $99. You can't go wrong.
