tripadvisorThe hotel is beautiful and my room on the 2nd floor was spacious and quiet. I did not see any guests during my one night stay. Do NOT plan to show up early since there is no one on site. You will be given a front door access code a few hours before 4 pm although you can not enter the building/room until 4 pm (unless you choose to pay extra).
MoreIt feels like everything was designed with the guest in mind. I loved the selfie station when you first walk inside, the historical facts posted throughout the building, and the cozy gathering space on the second floor. Rooms were impeccably decorated and clean, and there were lots of fun places to visit within walking distance. I will definitely return!
MoreClean, modern, sleek and easy!
MoreWe stayed in the Highlands Penthouse. The building, the concept, and the decor is very cool. Overall it was very clean. The location was great ! The only downside is that this unit is VERY NOISY. The back two bedrooms face the restaurant and the fan is outside one window which hums constantly and the other room is next to a giant walk in freezer so when the restaurant opens and they open and shut freezer door, the room “thuds” until about 10 or 11pm. The other 2 rooms were noisy with intermittent rumbling and we were not sure where the noise was coming from but they do give you a white noise machine. Also the ceiling fans needed repairs. I would say for this room it is great for a gathering but not a good place for sleeping. We can sleep about anywhere but this was the worst 3 nights of sleep my family has had in a long time. 3/5
MoreThe Bellwether was the perfect stay!! Great location, wonderful Patisserie a block away, restaurant downstairs was splendid and easy access to downtown. The rooms are very clean and the entire hotel is beautifully decorated. It is a very comfortable, boutique style hotel at very reasonable prices. Amenities were top notch as I loved the shower bath. I also appreciated their community focus to support other businesses in the area! We would definitely stay again!!!
