Overall, this is a really nice gi for the money. It looks great. It is lightweight, but durable and the stitching is sturdy. The black gi did not lighten even after multiple washings. And, it is quite comfortable. However, the pants are not true to size. I used the sizing chart and bought an A0 for my son who is 5'5 and 118lbs. The top is a little long in the sleeves, but otherwise fits him well around the shoulders and waist. The pants fit well around the waist, hips, thighs and calves. But, the length of the pants are way too short. They fit someone properly who is no taller than about 5'3. This was prior to even washing. (It didn't seem to shrink at all in cold, gentle cycle and line dried.) It would be nice if gi tops and bottoms were sold separately. We're considering buying an A1 so the pants will fit, then use the A0 top. But, for the price of 2 gi's I could have bought a custom fit gi.
