The worst car rental experience I've had in 40 years. The manager refused to honor the contract with priceline unless I paid him almost $500 in unlawful insurance and damage fees for a two-day rental. I showed him the declarations page of my homeowners to show I had insurance. I showed him the credit card to show him I had insurance.He said he would not honor the contract and give me a car unless I paid him. So I wrote Paid under protest. He ripped up receipt. I wrote declined insurance. He ripped up receipt. I started to record the ripped up receipts. He said, if I do this, I won't get the car. (My family was waiting at airport and we had an appointment that evening.). We argued over an hour. I even tried to sign a fake signature because I knew it was a scam and told him so. He ripped that up too and said he'd seen all my other signatures.I told him I would report it to the credit card company and priceline. He said he didn't care. No car unless I signed something I absolutely refused to sign. So I did. And I'm still fighting with them.I have filed complaints with Florida officials.Customer before me in line told me to turn around. They were scamming everyone. I said I had a priceline contract. He said it didn't matter. He was right. I should have listened to him.UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS SHADY COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Never again! I rented via Priceline for leas then $50.00 and ended up paying $275.00. They low ball you cause they know your personal insurance coverage will not be enough & you’ll be forced to pay for their insurance which cost over 4 times the amount of your rental. They do not tell you ahead of time via Priceline that you cannot take the car out of state. When I called customer service the lady was so rude! The car was not cleaned & overall a bad experience!

We had rented through Priceline. We paid for insurance through Priceline and pre paid everything before we got there. We even received an email through Priceline saying we don’t need any further insurance. However when we got there the attendant Alejandro rudely insisted we needed an extra collision for an extra $200 dollars. The the attendant was rude and knew had already paid. We let’s without the car refusing to pay an extra $200. Really sucks!

We booked on Priceline.com for a low rate and when we got there they required that we pay the upcharge for their insurance. We stated that we had insurance and declined it on priceline.com but after reviewing our insurance, the person stated, You have too good of insurance, we can't accept it. The original rental was $55 and now they wanted over $700 for the insurance. We refused and walked away. I am fighting to get my $55 back but at least they didn't take me for another $700+. The rub is that Priceline.com is stating that the rental is non-refundable so even though it's a scam, they support scamming their customers.

Booked online thru Priceline. Great rate. Drove to the Tampa office. Added Priceline insurance online. Agent said they don't take My insurance for liability. Wanted to charge me an ADDITIONAL $50 PER DAY for their liability insurance.HUGE SCAM!ALL THE CHEAP RENTAL COMPANIES IN PRICELINE FOR TAMPA ARE THE SAME COMPANY. BEWARE!
