We had the best time on the Talisa, running up and down the St. John's River. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Florida Adventure. This was the most relaxing time I've had in a long time. The river is a truly special place. We even got to see manatees and more gators than you would actually want to see! Bob was attentive throughout the booking process and answered all of my questions. Pull up the waterwayguide.com and use that to plot your course, find gas stops and places to moor for the night. 10 stars for this trip and host!

I took a friend and her 16 year old son out for a couple days aboard Talisa. It was FANTASTIC! Upon return to Virginia she called to say it was the most relaxing vacation of her life. Score! The only regret was not having a couple more days to explore this AMAZING part of Natural Florida. No plastic animals, lines of sweaty tourists, or mortgaging the family farm in this one! REAL life! REAL animals in THEIR natural habitat.Silver Glen is spectacular if you go during the week when people are working and kids in school. (Would not recommend in ANY holiday, and weekends only if you get there early and are prepared for the 2-legged wildlife...) Otherwise, it is magical.De Leon Springs is also a great place to visit!It is not nearly the places that you can go(of which there are many if you have the time), but the incredible experience of The Journey and the delightful accomodations Talisa provides during the trip. Kick back and relax. Have a cold drink and enjoy meals like you never thought possible (most of it just comes from the unique surroundings and TOTALLY emersive experience!)Highly recommended - again and again and again! Definitely will not be my last adventure aboard this fine Lady of a boat!
