This motel is a patel motel (of course). I stayed here twice. Both times, the television didn't work right, although the problem I had was different each time. Both times, housekeeping knocked on my door before the checkout time of 11:00 a.m.! On the second stay, I complained. The desk clerk said sorry, it was a mistake. When I said it was no mistake, he said it may have been some children running the halls. The whole time he was laughing at me about it. When I started to say something to him about it, he would interrupt with sorry, sorry.The motel used to be a Drury Inn. It was much nicer. Lotus inherited a nice property, but the staff is incompetent and rude and the televisions don't work. Don't be fooled by the star rating; the motel is riding on old reviews before they let it deteriorate.

Very nice hotel for the money. Great breakfast! They don’t put out many towels and wash cloths, had to ask several times for more. The big concern was No Heat in rooms when temp was in 50’s outside. They did provide a heater for a when we asked! Very nice front desk staff!

We stayed at Hotel Lotus last night following a Dr's appt at KU. The room was clean and comfortable if a little worn-looking. The mattress was a little spring-y. I was able to sleep on it still but woke up a little stiff. It was quiet and felt safe. The front desk staff were nice. They had a complimentary breakfast but I didn't eat it so I can't comment on it. I will stay here again.

Breakfast was top notch! Avacodo toast was delicious, over hard eggs were cooked to perfection, and there wasn’t on piece of fruit that was bad.

This used to be a nice Drury Inn. It is now nothing like one of those and you should STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. In need of major cleaning and major updating. But I don't know if that would fix it. It is possible someone needs to just START OVER - as parking lot it would be more useful. Food bad. I do not see gray water in my eggs at home. The Rooms - years of layers of dirt on top of the outdated interior. Mattresses are shot and need to be replaced. Windows don't open - GRRR.. I do not see any money going back into this place, I just see them taking yours and mine- SO DON'T!
