Great food, great staff! Lived in the area for almost a year before I checked this place out, and I'm so happy I stopped in! The Bartender is amazing, along with the rest of the staff, including the owner. Definitely made me feel at home! I will absolutely be a regular customer going forward!

Just west of the “Bono Turn” on Route 2, you will find the Bono Tavern. The delightful owner recently gave this venerable old watering hole a facelift & it is worth a stop. Beautiful old wood floor. Natural wood bar. Home cooking. Great bartender. Pool table, darts. Fun, friendly clientele.

Like a lot of people, I visit the Bono when I'm in town for the spring walleye jig bite. A very simple place with good bar food and a few specialty items like Turtle soup and fresh pork rinds. You can't beat the prices the beer is cold. It's the kind of place that if I lived closer I would probably be a regular....Try it...

Inexpensive good tacos. Small local bar. Pool table and shuffleboard. If you are not looking for anything fancy and want local atmosphere this is your place.
