We attended our first concert at the Lexus Box Garden last night and paid $365 for an entire reserved table right at the front. I specifically purchased the entire table because I wanted the extra room and expected that a reserved, paid section would actually remain reserved for the people who purchased it. Our section had blue wristbands, while the standing room area had green wristbands and was separated by rope. From approximately an hour before the concert even started until the very end of the night, people with green wristbands repeatedly came into our section, stood at our table, sat at our table, moved into the space we had paid for, and came through the reserved area. Once the concert started, there was no consistent security presence at the access points to stop this from happening. Instead, if there was a problem, paying customers were expected to leave the concert, make their way back through an extremely crowded venue, find someone from security, explain what was happening, and then try to get someone to come back and address it. That is not an acceptable way to manage a reserved section. There should be security stationed at the access points to these areas throughout the concert, checking wristbands and preventing people who did not pay for that section from entering in the first place. This is especially important at a venue where alcohol is being served. Paying customers should not be put in the position of repeatedly confronting other guests over seating and space they have already paid for. That creates unnecessary tension and the potential for situations to escalate, which is exactly what proper security and crowd management should be preventing. There was also a major problem with access to the standing room area. Because our table was located in the front center, people were constantly walking between our table and the table beside us and going underneath the rope to enter and exit the standing area. This continued throughout the entire concert. If people are going to be allowed to enter and exit that area, there need to be clearly designated entrance and exit points that do not require them to walk through the reserved table section. If a venue is going to charge $365 for a reserved table and use different colored wristbands to separate ticketed areas, then those sections need to actually be enforced. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy the concert, we spent much of the evening watching our space, asking people to move, dealing with constant traffic through the reserved area, and trying to get security involved. It completely took away from our enjoyment of the concert. Legacy Hall and the Lexus Box Garden need to seriously improve security and crowd management at ticketed events. There should be security positioned at the access points throughout the event, wristband restrictions need to be enforced, and the standing room area needs designated entrances and exits. Customers paying this much for reserved seating should not have to police the area themselves. Based on our experience, we will not be returning.

This venue has the potential to be a great experience with several different food stalls and bars and a massive outdoor space. It’s right next to a giant parking garage which was free to the public on the weekend (not sure about weekdays). We unintentionally attended a massive watch party for the World Cup and it was elbow to elbow on every floor and outside. Would visit again but know now to check their events calendar to avoid crowds.

We're done. We've pretty much been regulars at the Lexus Box garden at Legacy Hall to see shows for years. We rented tables or reserved the seated areas upstairs, dropping a lot of cash along the way for overpriced drinks. The tables were special because we could sit and enjoy the show. The GA people who stand were roped off to the front or the sides. They've recently raised prices almost double for tables to around $300 and we got invited to sit with friends for the Emerald City show last night. First of all, they started an hour late and we got there early in the first place. Not cool. It was mayhem, with people standing all around us, using our table to put their empty drinks and generally crowding us up so we couldn't see a thing even while standing. I asked security and they pretty much shrugged. We're done, got ripped off and won't be back. Plenty of other venues in town.

Legacy hall offers a very exciting opportunity to try a diverse amount of food at very affordable costs. It is also very convenient as you can shop in Legacy West at the same time. A must visit if you're in Plano.
