tripadvisorLove the Ranch Rockers and all of the up and coming Temecula Talent that is featured. I like the 9pm shows because they have a wider mix of new talent.
MoreThe Merc offers a good variety of performances including concerts - a very small place, but cozy and tables are well placed. Always a fun time
MoreThis was great fun. We enjoyed listening to lot's of oldies and goodies in a delightfully intimate setting.
MoreI just went to see Shrek the Musical at this beautiful theater last night. I have seen so many performances there over the years I thought I had just been remiss in writting reviews. I found this theater was not listed in Temecula activities and I hope this corrects that situation. They offer many musical productions each year in a wide range. There are also musical performances like ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER SPECTACULAR 2014 and tributes to the Beatles. Along with a regular performance of danceXchange they have dance performances like Avocado Dance Theatre . At various times there have been USO shows, country preformances, classical music and of course jazz. The Merc which is part of the theater is where the small venues are held but the theater is much bigger. The prices vary but are never as high as the bigger cities. Many performances are from local companies and very reasonable in price. I hope this helps anyone considering doing something other than drinking wine in Temecula, And by the way Shrek was very good.
MoreFor five years, Country at the Merc has been wowing audiences with the amazing talents of local performers. In the first few years, there were shows every Saturday, but lately the house band, The Ranch Rockers, have trimmed down to twice a month (the FIRST and THIRD Saturdays) with two shows, One at Seven and One at Nine. Powerhouse singers, Sandi Capel and Gwyn Sandborn, front for an accomplished bunch of musicians who can hold their own in rock and blues as well as country. A unique feature of the show is that guest performers from the community are auditioned and showcased each week. Some are young students of local voice teachers, and some are mature performers. Each week is different. Tickets are $15 at the box office or online. Lately, many shows have sold out, so it is wise to get tickets ahead of time. A snack bar with wine and beer is also available.
