We used Top Shelf for a wine tour in the Charlottesville area and had a blast. We opted for the Bentley experience which included a vintage and classy 2003 silver Bentley with an excellent driver named Michael. The Bentley was really cool but Michael was amazing and we credit him for making the day very special. We selected several wineries in advance but left it up to Michael to give us his opinion and plan the route. He was very knowledgeable and helped us alter our preliminary agenda a little. He also knew people at several of the wineries which helped us navigate things easier. He was charming and entertaining and we really enjoyed his company. Excellent experience!

We had Bit to take us around Charlottesville to various wineries and had a fantastic time! He was not only knowledgeable about the area and wines but we had a great time getting to know him! I would certainly recommend Top Shelf Transportation and Bit!

I can highly recommend Top Shelf Transportation! Our driver, Michael was excellent and accommodated our every request. He collected us at our house at 10:30 AM in their Bentley for a five hour wine tasting and followed a simple two stop Vineyard tour; CrossKeys Vineyards for lunch and then Pippin Hill for a wine tasting. I planned a route avoiding the freeway so that we could enjoy the scenic drive from Gordonsville on route 33 through the mountains. Michael was most entertaining and shared with us the history of the local areas and escorted to our reserved lunch table at CrossKeys; left us to enjoy our wine pairing lunch; and then gave us a personal tour of Pippin Hill which is spectacular; we must do lunch there sometime soon!You should ask Michael about his bow ties!Well done and thank you Top Shelf Transportation!

I surprised my wife with a wine tour in the Bentley to celebrate her 30th birthday during our weekend getaway to Charlottesville. The Bentley arrived promptly and our driver Michael was absolutely great from the beginning. While the car was a treat, it was Michael that made the experience so memorable for my wife and I. We hope to be able to return some time in the near future and experience some more of the wineries with Michael. Truly could not have been better! Thank you, Michael, and thank you, Top Shelf.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our November wedding anniversary in late October with a VA Wine Tour weekend (we live in the Greater Washington region) as a fun getaway. After researching options, I decided to book the Bentley Tour (vs the standard limo) to surprise my husband. The cost was not prohibitive and the experience was worth every penny and more. I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. Dawn (owner) was extremely helpful, quick to respond to questions and generous with her time, suggestions and price. We emailed several times and even had a few phone conversations. On the day of the tour, our driver, Michael, showed up in a black suit, top hat and bow tie! I’m not sure what I expected him to wear but it made the experience even more celebratory. The car is lovely and people do watch and wonder as you make your way around the wineries. Michael was an absolute GEM! A wine lover, himself, he knows the ins and outs of every vineyard, and also knows the history of the region (Revolutinary and Civil wars). We talked about Va wines, the history/owners of the wineries and everything under the sun. We had a fabulous day. Michael’s attention to detail and his convivial nature made the experience extra special. He took care of every detail. For example, he collected the lunch we had pre-ordered from a local market and when it came time to stop for lunch, he found plastic cultlery for us when we realized we didn’t have anything with which to eat our food! At the end of our day, he even presented us with a lovely book on the region VA wine country that we had toured. I have nothing but praise for Top Shelf Transportation for it is truly that!
