I'm sure my uncle Bert is looking down, and still producing behind the scenes somewhere. I remember when he re-opened this theater think it was in the 70's, and we would go there daily, and clean, and paint. When it finally opened, and I think his first production was Bus Stop he was so proud. This became his life, he always loved the theater, and I believe this theater was one of his happiest accomplishments. Keep up all the great shows. God bless, and remember Bert's somewhere in the background with his cockney accent cheering, and applauding..

Five cars were turned away today by a man telling them to leave the parking lot of this theatre. When one of the patrons stopped at the box office to tell them they were harrassed by some guy in the parking lot, they said they had hired him!!! He was very, very rude. What the heck is wrong with you, Marion Theatre, for doing such a thing? I thought you were struggling? You deserve to close!!!

We love this little improv theater and its quirkiness. The shows are always a surprise. Prices are reasonable. A gem in the rough.

The Second Thought Improv was at the Insomniac Theater - local actors doing real improv. They were excellent! Small theater and every seat was filled, so if you are going with a group, get there when the doors open to sit together. Tickets were only $10 each and for two hours of good laughs, that's some cheap entertainment. There are lots of places in walking distance to get food and drink before or after the show. They group did pull a few people from the audience to participate in the show on stage, but it was very nicely done - no one from the audience was put in a humiliating position, just good clean fun. The age range of audience was from early teens to the 50+. We had some good laughs and will go again.
