We saw a tribute band for Neil Diamond. They sounded fantastic, the price was excellent, and it wasn't crowded. Plenty of room on the dance floor to dance up close to the band too!

The Digital Library Auditorium, on the campus of Riverside City College, has approximately 200 seats, and is a great place for attending small-venue concerts where acoustics matter. I was there for my first visit in October to see/hear Ana Vidovic play the guitar, and was very pleased by how the sound projected (I was in the 8th row, not quite halfway back) with no amplification whatsoever. I would definitely attend another guitar recital or musical performance at this auditorium. [If you're looking for a concert schedule, do a search on rcc performing arts] Notes: (1) This concert hall has no-frills décor, but [thankfully] provides fairly comfortable seating. The seating area is one section, i.e., isles on the sides only. (2) No-frills lighting also: mainly above-the-stage fluorescents. For other types of performances this may be different, I don’t know, but for a guitar recital, just the basic overhead stage lights were utilized. (3) The seating area is not sufficiently sloped, so you may have a hard time seeing the performer if you’re not tall (plus, people in front of you may be tilting their heads for a better sightline, thus affecting your view). (4) Restrooms for attendees are not in the building. Exit the main doors, go up the steps and find the restrooms under the building archway (look to the left). (5) Parking structure is very close by; pay $3 for four hours (that should cover any concert). Unless you have a parking pass; you’ll have to put money into a machine, grab the ticket, and go back to your car to put it on top of the dashboard. (6) If classes are in session, allow extra time to circulate and find a parking spot.
