Great overlook of downtown Tucson. Trails to get up even higher. Parking was a bit tight and busy. Looks like you should stay on the trails as there are a lot of loose rocks. Was nice to stop and see.

Sentinel peak, also known as A Mountain, is a prominent landmark in Tucson. Early people grew their crops at its base, and it was an important peak for signal fires and also as a lookout. It was here that Tucson was first established. In 1912, University of Arizona students built the A, and they continue to maintain it and light it up every year for homecoming week. It is a popular place for hiking, there is a park there as well.
