However the room I stayed in had some sort of Carlin in the room that kept clawing so loud that I could not fall asleep so I left early. If you do leave early and give 24 hour notice they will not refund you btw. Also some sites still have this place affiliated with Motel 6 which is incorrect information at this time.

I would definitely NOT RECOMMENDED this place to anyone. This Motel 6 has bedbugs!!! My husband and I stayed there from 1 am to 7 am and woke up with multiple bites !!! When we inspected the bed, we found a few live bedbugs. There were baby bedbugs, as well as old shells from adult bedbugs (long past molting). We also found a lot of old blood stains on pillows (not the pillow case) from previous occupants’ bites. All this shows that the bedbugs in this Motel 6 live much more comfortably than people! We caught some live bedbugs into a glass and brought it to the front desk. The staff at this motel are not trained to recognize bedbugs... Seems like they don’t do basic inspection with routine cleaning. So our vacation was ruined from the start... as after we arrived to Florida, we could not fully enjoy the beach/pool as our bodies were covered in inflamed, obvious bedbug bites. Long story short - don't waste your time, money and health at this Motel 6!!!

This motel 6 is located near many restaurants in Lafayette. It was easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The desk clerk was friendly and provided me with local information that was quite helpful.

Old and run down Motel 6 in a sketchy neighborhood just off I-10 eastbound. Upon checking in at the desk the clerk said he needed to see a photo I.D. - that should have been my first tip off! A woman in the parking lot asking for money was another! Exterior sadly needing paint and basic maintenance. Interior - stained bedspread and old chipped furniture. A footprint on the inside of the room door. Doesn't someone from Corporate inspect their franchisee owners from time to time???????? I have stayed in worse in southeast Asia. I brought my sleeping bag from my car to sleep in. A drunk pounding on my door at 11:30 pm. Find somewhere else to stay - this isn't worth risking piece of mind, potential auto break in or risk of potential physical injury! So, why did I stay you ask? Too tired to find another motel!!!!!!

This place was horrible because of neighbourhood. The guy in the room next to ours said to my husband I nice things that I am going to sell tonight do you want to see? Bad intro to the motel. We took all our valuable goods inside. There was come and go and knocking on door all night. Happily the clim was covering the noise so we could sleep. The room itself was average. Clean bhe comfi except for the dirty rug and chair stained burned and falling apart. I wish I have read the comments begore reserving.
