tripadvisorAbsolutely disgusting. The room we were given had large stains, dry boogers, and hair all over the sheets. The shower was gross as well and there was a sucker stuck to the couch. When we asked for a new room, they denied it and just brought us new sheets (which they refused to put on, stating “I ain’t a housekeeper”. Photo attached.
MoreLocation easy. Atmosphere quiet and comfortable, staff seems pleasant, slot selection good and fair pay outsWe had a winning time.Downfalls: no food options to speak of. Plan on dining in advance or after. Disappointing since we were staying over a couple nights. Actually went to casino queen across river to eat. No retail shops open
MoreWow! In the Uber from the airport, they drove me right past it—I had no idea it was there. I was in town for the Cubs vs. Cards game.I ended up ride-sharing over on the advice of the hotel concierge, who said the area was sketchy. Inside, though, it definitely wasn’t. I was really impressed. The weekday bartender near the entrance was cool, and I had a good time winning a little on some bartop video poker.I walked around the casino, and while it’s obviously not big compared with Vegas, where I go frequently, it’s still pretty nice. I used some funny-money comps from my Caesars app and actually left up!I also had a dining reward to use, and found out they had Gordon Ramsay at the Four Seasons which is attached. A Four Seasons?? I was shocked.. I grabbed lunch there overlooking the pool deck. The gloomy Midwest weather was actually amazing for it.I’m not really a Gordon Ramsay fan, and I think the whole Caesars/Eldorado model of putting the same stuff in every property is kind of dumb—it mostly just makes the hosts richer. But it was still a really good spot.At least for a drink and visit
MoreMy sister and I stayed here two nights for a little getaway. I was so skeptical about it because of the poor reviews. I was amazed at how much I liked this hotel. It was clean, beautiful, smelled wonderful, and very spacious. The commons area was so relaxing and had color changing planters. Our 7th floor double queen room was clean, spacious and with my Caesar’s rewards it was very reasonably priced. I will return. It was also located very close to the arch and Old Spaghetti Factory. The casino wasn’t very loose so that wasn’t my favorite part.
MoreThe Hotel Lumiere has improved. They have opened the lobby bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Great place to mingle. They did run out of some alcohols. THey have new furniture in the lobby. Improves the look. The front elevator bank had one elevator working! Finally after 2 years. But the second one was waiting for parts before it was operational. The bed sheets were aged. The mattress was deficient. The casino was tight on Thursday night. Better on Friday and Saturday.
