Luther Ely Smith Park is a little oasis situated between the Drury Plaza Hotel and the Hyatt Hotel with direct walkway access from downtown to the Gateway Arch. Fantastic views of the Arch and the Old Courthouse.

Between the Gateway Arch and the Old Courthouse in downtown St Louis is a green space known as Luther Ely Smith Park. Luther Ely Smith was a St Louis lawyer who pushed forward the idea of building a monument on the St Louis Riverfront dedicated to Thomas Jefferson and Westward Expansion. The views of the Arch and the Old Courthouse especially after dark are beautiful.
