tripadvisorFoggy Bottom like other historic neighborhoods has a story to tell and the walking tour captures the story perfectly. Learning about the history of the buildings and the people who were there was fascinating. It’s a walking history lesson with a charming back drop of vintage homes, beautiful gardens and scenic streets.
MoreThe History tour has so much information and photos about the row houses in this charming neighborhood. It’s hard to believe it had industrial past so important to the city. And the types of people who lived here over the decades. Walking through the alleys and streets is a quiet escape from all that surrounds it. I loved the blue house with the beautiful garden and the poetry attached to the fence. And the hidden gems of the tiny row houses in Snow’s Court. Lots of sculptures and murals dot the walk and I like background on the artists on the Arts Tour. The backstories filled with details worth a second read. During the walk, local residents were helpful in offering directions and info on their houses. Only a few blocks from Foggy Bottom metro station. In June, all the small gardens were lovely.
