tripadvisorAnother stop in our visit to Norman. This is a well-established, long-standing Native American art gallery. The owner has relationships with the artists whose work she shows which makes any purchase very personal. There is a wide selection of fine art, gifts, jewelry, and the Bedre chocolates are a must.
MoreWe stopped in to check out the Wichita show! First, what a gallery - more like a museum with the variety of art and the knowledge of the woman who owns it was inspiring. The Wichita show was wonderful as well, unfortunately we missed the Sunday opening where the artists were lecturing. However, there was another artist in who spoke to us about his ledger art and pottery. The gallery was very welcoming and helpful in answering our questions. The jewelry selection of authentic works was wonderful to see as well. We did pick up some beautiful beadwork and a turquoise cuff. Definitely a must see & also the gift shop in front with the Oklahoma items and Bedre Chocolates … yum! My new spot for local gifts and jewelry.
MoreThe gallery to go to for Indian Art by only Indian Artists. They have helped design the calendars for Red Earth and are very knowledgable about art.
MoreI stopped in based on a TripAdvisor revue and was pleasantly surprised. The shop was in a bit of disarray, but the items were spectacular and there was even a little something that I could purchase! I wish I had the $ and display venue to collect some of the pieces from this gem. If you'd like to see great current Native American art stop in. It's right off the highway!
MoreTremendous collection for a gallery. Art must be presented well and the gallery owners take time to thoughtfully collect a good variety of art and artists' work to keep people coming back. The owners do not pressure visitors to buy and don't mind browsers. Put it on your calendar when you are in Norman!
