Knot Just Lumber is a family-owned hardwood lumber store and woodshop in Hiawatha, Iowa, serving DIY and professional woodworkers across eastern Iowa and the Midwest. Our walnut comes from our family's sawmill in southeast Iowa. In the showroom: domestic and exotic hardwood lumber, live edge slabs, cookies, turning stock, epoxy and finishes. In the shop: slab flattening (up to 72" wide), planing, ripping, drum sanding, resawing, glue-ups, epoxy pours and local delivery. Knot Just Tables is our furniture line. We build solid American black walnut dining tables, farmhouse and trestle tables, benches, coffee, side and console tables, desk tops and restaurant table tops, plus custom live edge and river epoxy pieces. Everything is built to order in our shop, arrives in about 2–3 weeks with free shipping in the lower 48, and carries a 5-year structural warranty on home tables. Stop in Monday to Saturday, 10 to 5, to see the walnut in person.
