We went on Wendy’s swamp tour late February 2026. We are visitors from the UK so we didn’t know what to expect - firstly, we were late due to traffic. Wendy was so accommodating and let us rebook our tour to later in the day. She was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the swamp - I wholly recommend this tour for a more intimate and “authentic” experience - it is a bit out of the way but so worth the trip. If you are visiting Louisiana you should 10000% take the time to do a swamp tour with Wendy

What a great tour! Wendy was truly excellent! She is super helpful in booking the tour, by phone in our case. She was an EXCELLENT guide. Spotted all kinds of wildlife, had great commentary on the area, the flora and fauna. She knows her stuff! Highly, highly recommended.

We made an amazing tour in a beautiful a d calm environment. Wendy is nice and funny to but she perfectly knows the swamp . Her explanation and comments were very interesting . We loved her french lingahe.We highly recommend this tour!

Wendy was a very knowledgeable tour guide with detailed and even biological knowledge of everything in Lake Martin. It is like her second home and she was wonderful in answering questions and making sure everyone could see the wildlife. With her smaller boat, she was able to sneak into tight places and view areas of the swamp other tours could not. I would highly recommend her tour for all age groups (young and old).
