I just wanted to share that Andrea at the Loren was so kind and hospitable. I really appreciated her energy when I came into the café.

The room was very hot and never got below 72 and it was very loud. We needed earplugs and a sound machine. I would never stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loren. The atmosphere is sleek and modern and the service was welcoming and friendly across the board. We choose a room with a city view and it was gorgeous. Floor to ceiling windows and the push of a button allowed a shade to block out the light for sleeping. The bed was extremely comfortable and like climbing into a cloud at the end of a full day. We appreciated the cans of water awaiting us and even though we didn't use it- the mini bar was very nicely stocked with local snacks and a variety of drinks. The bathroom was large and well equipped. I love when there is a magnifying mirror! The bathtub was large and luxurious and the shower had nice pressure. The location led us to picking this hotel because it was removed from the center of downtown yet easy to walk across the bridge and get places by foot. We walked to the Capitol and to restaurants on Congress and 6th. The attached coffee shop was very convenient and made awesome lattes. The rooftop pool was a very enjoyable respite with comfortable lounges, delicious strawberry water and ample towels provided. We had breakfast outside at Nido- the rooftop restaurant. I definitely recommend a visit here for at least one meal or cocktail. The views are stunning and the service is great. It was a lovely place to be on our visit to Austin.

It’s a great location and pretty view but that doesn’t make up for all the junk fees and snobby staff. Room service was mid at best.

No food, rude check in experience. Not allowing me to check in after no physical card and prepaid for room. Antiquated policy. No food after 10p. Waited in lobby for hours. Then received a room that overlooks the highway with noise.
