Lovely warm welcome from the gorgeous Sabrina, who ran the front of house skilfully and courteously. Lovely environment, beautiful setting and although we only had coffee and cakes it was a very pleasant experience whilst visiting Boston.

Let’s start with the many positive things I like about this bookstore. It’s located directly on historic Charles Street. Very friendly staff. Email list and newsletter with upcoming events. It has a cozy ,grandma‘s house feel. It isn’t mobility friendly. There are a few floors and with very narrow staircases. I wouldn’t recommend if you have any mobility issues , even vertigo or being scared of heights. The store can be crowded at times, especially during peak season.

The bookstore is so cool and very well curated. The cafe looks so cute, but you should definitely get a reservation as it was packed.

From the moment we entered, we realized we were in for an amazing time. The food at the cafe was delicious and the service was excellent. Once we finished our very special scones, we went up to the book store and walked into a wonderland of books and nick-knacks! Thank you for making our visit to Boston so special.

This is a cute little local, small business in Beacon Hill, just north of Boston Common. I initially went in at the request of my sister because Beacon Hill Books & Cafe have an Ana Inciardi mini print machine on the third floor. If you know you know. Otherwise, this bookstore is filled with a great selection of reads packed into a small place (their stairs to the upper levels are so narrow that it’s hard for two people to pass by at once). Being a smaller bookstore, yes, their books are more pricey than the large chains or Amazon. But if you want to support local, check out this quaint little shop.
