Hi, my name is Sydney, owner of BTFC. As a military spouse, it can be understood that moving comes with the marriage. But when I reflected on my background as a special educator, I knew there had to be a more creative solution that combined two of my passions. This is where coffee and pastries come into play (nom, nom, nom). I knew that my heart was with the world of special education, but something that also brought me great joy was coffee shops. The atmosphere, the foods, the drinks, the ability to socialize, work, or relax….it all made me so happy. This is when my light bulb moment took place and the two fused together in my brain. The dream of opening a coffee shop to employ adults with intellectual disabilities was born, and I’ve not been able to stop thinking about it since! Just settling into a new city, and realizing that I might have to be okay with the idea of being “military mobile” for a while, I realized that opening coffee trailer could serve as a stepping stone for me to one day meet my career goal of opening my brick and mortar shop. This is when BrewTeaFull Cafe was born! BTFC (on wheels) will allow me to gain more hands on experience directly in my coffee field, while saving to get my actual shop up and running when the time is right! Who knows… if we are lucky, that could even be here in Bossier! I am excited and ready to meet each of you! I hope you enjoy all I have to offer, and share your experience and my mission with others.
